Hey Sylvia, thanks for bringing the videos over sweetie, I loved hearing the orchestration in “Pride”. The only thing is that you loved it so much, you posted it twice! Lol Here’s the link to “How can we be lovers”:

Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on April 30, 2012 at 4:51pm LOL.......that is what I get for rushing backwards and forwards from one page to other and watching that 15 minute edit window moving down and trying to ensure I get them all on the one message.....my poor broomstick is nearly on fire these days with all the flying about I'm doing !!!!!!! LOL. Thanks for putting in correct link Sylvie !!! :)
Something I did mean to say, if anyone is interested, is that most of these videos I have copied over onto the Video Section and just thought an easier way to listen too rather than trying to locate them all on youtube or scrolling up and down here trying to locate links for they are altogether on there including the "funnies" and interviews !! :)

Hey Sylvia, I meant to ask you why you didn't put them all on the tour thread, but since I had corrected you already, I didn't want to add insult to injury... XD I guess you have a point sweetie, but there are so few links and so few reviews these days, I would think they'd be easier to find. I know nothing. You're very welcome for the link, we all make mistakes. Take care Sylvia. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on April 30, 2012 at 8:26pm I put them into the Video Section because then anyone who comes on the website can see whereas they may not come into the forum and locate them on a thread .....I have always transferred links that I feel are good onto the Video Section so that they are there and don't go into archive and as I say are available to anyone that comes into the website !! As for putting them all on the Tour thread I genuinely didn't think about that for I was more thinking this is the thread for new videos whereas the Tour thread is more for reviews and that was why e.g. took only "Pride" over because it was the last song of the tour, therefore, pretty significant as was the same for the one from Melbourne because it was pretty good and too because there was no individual review for there....feel it is different where Dianna has put in her links to youtube because they are part and parcel of her review as with anyone that attends a show and records at that show !! Feel also too that on here they are less likely to go into archive unless this thread loses favour but whereas at the end of each year the Tour thread automatically goes into archive !!
I have just read over what I have written and changed a couple of spelling mistakes too, I will admit but, at the same time, thought I had better put in a postscript although it would probably be better if I put a warning in first : "remember this is an explanation from the Wee One so pin your lugs back, get yourself a stiff drink and make yourself comfortable before you read" !!! ROFL

Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on May 11, 2012 at 11:01pm The below link is a video just uploaded to youtube and Marie Rusova had put it on my wall on FB for me this morning and it is of Michael singing "Jesus Christ Superstar" !! There is no information given with it but it is obviously from a show celebrating Andrew Lloyd Weber's music as he is in the audience and the next performer is going to sing from Evita. It is Angela Lansbury who introduces Michael and I would say it is very early 90's by the look of MB.
Sounds familiar to me Sylvie and I wonder whoever it is that has been holding onto it if they have anymore and I hope they share if they have !! :) I would still say MB could do an ALW CD and he should !! :)

Permalink Reply by Robin on May 11, 2012 at 11:10pm I say late 1980's or early 1990's too-he has that Soul Provider hair type of look which was 1989 I think or around the time of TLT, which is 1991..I saw it over on FB. LOL Just guessing.. It's a keeper. After seeing him do the ALW tour here in 2000 he definitely would be awesome with an ALW album. I would love to see the show he was a part of one more time. He was wonderful, the whole cast was..Great memories.. This video I don't remember seeing before. Thanks for putting it here too..
Robin in MD :)
Robin I think your timing is right ..early 1990's. This was a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber. I've got this on video cassette when I recorded it from the tv but it isn't as good quality as this one. He did sing Gesthemine (spelled?) on tour and at the time we all thought an ALW album would be fantastic!!
Oh Sylvia, God bless you for bringing this over here! Gasps and goosebumps! Where did anyone get such fantastic quality? Well, according to Florin, this was recorded in '89, although according to Wikipedia, this "Living legends" type of show started in 1990, so take your pick! :D I agree 1000% with you about the ALW album and our Michael has said in at least one interview that this was the direction he wanted his career to move in. Of course, the interview was in 2010, but I guess that'll come in Bolton Standard Time... :D Take care Sylvia and thank you so very much again for bringing this over here, you made my weekend! Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
P.S.: I loved Angela Lansbury's introduction!

Hi all, for those of you who haven’t heard it, a beautiful soulful “Jermaine Dupri” remix of “The best of love”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEDk_v8KlwY&feature=related
This was on a 1 track limited edition U.S. single in 1997, enjoy! Thanks Eva for posting these links or I wouldn’t have found mine! Thanks especially for the German 1992 one. :D Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
P.S.: For the record, the links Eva posted are: “The way I love you”, “Bah bah bah”, “I think about you”, “It’s for you” and “Starting over”. For those of you who don’t know, “Bah bah bah” was Michael’s first single with his band Joy when he was 16 and “It’s for you” was the B side, the rest of these songs are unreleased demos.
