Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on July 12, 2012 at 10:32pm Yes Sylvie I saw that other video but you don't see Michael in it and your dates could be spot on for I thought round about that time by his haircut, which was pretty short, and too the earring was missing and that was not worn in 2006 !! lol. Also it is a special event for you can see that there is an audience seated round the perimeter of the rink and they are all sitting at tables whereas with the other video it is either a competition, although I don't think so or one of her many exhibitions that she does now but I must say I thought that sounded like "Nessun Dorma" taken from "'Til The End of Forever" where that is a live recorded version but no matter what it was great to see for she was and is a beautiful skater.....saw when I went in to see if could find any information or heads up about video that she did a tour of Japan this year...a bit like old Torvill and Dean, she is still going strong !! :)

Hi all, I bring a couple of different videos today. First, not sure when this was filmed, but this is Michael in Seoul, singing HAISTLWY and was uploaded on August 2 of this year:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JTUlOwjxhw&feature=related
and last but certainly not least, Michael and Barry Mann at the 4th annual salute to the American songwriter in 1989, singing “You’ve lost that lovin’ feelin’”
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsVwmw-n0rk&feature=related
There’s a great short interview of Barry Mann and Michael on that last one, enjoy! Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on August 21, 2012 at 5:19pm Oh wow Sylvie what great videos and the first one in Seoul was between 2005 - 2008 because Michael hasn't in his earring but nor does he have on his engagement ring so could we even go for later half 2005 - early 2008 ??? lol. The second video is terrific and oh boy great to see Michael and that hair for it isn't just curly it is almost lying in ringlets at the back !!! LOL
Great finds and thanks for sharing !!! :)

Hey Sylvia, you're very welcome. Judging from your very observant description, I think the first video may come from a concert that can be found on-line, which I believe Payten had posted the link to, many moons ago, right on this thread. The concert is an hour long and it was posted on an Asian site. It may have been recorded off the TV, but not seeing it, I'm not sure. I don't have the link handy, but good luck finding it. If this is the same one, I think an assessment of late 2005/early 2006 may be right because I remember Michael mentionning a couple of Sinatra songs he sang were to be on his next album. Man I just love the second video: it's a piece of history, right there! Glad you enjoyed them! Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

LOL It was recorded in 2006 in Seoul, South Korea and you are right about it being about 1 hour long so happy watching and listening folks to all those that do !!!! :)

Dear Sylvie and Sylvia - What are you doing to me?? I'm supposed to be busy doing some other stuff but I keep on getting distracted because of you two !!!
Now, this is gonna be in my head for the next few hours (thanks to the link you posted earlier) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2ExDTaefNc&feature=plcp :))) Byyyye
Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on August 21, 2012 at 7:38pm It is a great song that and I love it and purposefully bought the American version of "One World, One Love" so that I would have it !! :) That is how the uploader, Marie Rusova, calls it "rare" because it is not on the European version of the CD....it is not the correct word to use but Marie has stuck with it so any song that is not on a CD she has is "rare" according to her .....so if you come across any more you will understand what the meaning of "rare" is as applied to !! lol.

Hey Nic, I'll tell ya, YouTube should come with a warning: it's addictive! lol Anytime someone posts a link, I have to check the suggestions and can get lost on there for hours, litterally... I'm guessing that means you enjoyed it so that's good! Take care sweetie. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Thanks for fishing it out Sylvia. So does it look like the same concert? The sound is certainly different. Poor Michael didn't sound well in that concert, but he certainly compensated in soul and sweetness... Well anyway, enjoy! Take care Sylvia. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
Permalink Reply by sylvia doughty on August 22, 2012 at 2:56pm Your link of HAISTLWY is from the same show Sylvie and I can't hear anything different nor did I think Michael sounded anything but fantastic.....I loved the whole video but in parts it was breaking up for me in that it kept stopping and starting but then it came back okay and didn't cause too much of an intrusion into enjoying, in fact, none at all for I played it on the the full screen so when it stopped I had a beautiful picture of MB on my screen and HAISTLWY is the last song of the concert and the set list is very similar to "The Best of Michael Bolton Live" DVD which of course was done in 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed and am glad have found that link for that definitely is being saved !! :)
