Hi again Betty, I only listen to some pop radio in the morning and haven’t heard Michael there since 1993. On AC radio, they mostly play his covers, although it makes me jump up and cheer when I do!  Richard Marx said in an interview a few years back that people tend to stamp a time-label on certain artists, that’s why he doesn’t record much. Although I have to admit that I absolutely love Richard’s songwriting. I found out recently that he co-wrote “To where you are” by Josh Groban and man do I love that song… He also co-wrote some of the best ones on OAWLY. Hi again Betty, I completely agree about people having pre-conceived ideas about him and not being able to get passed that. If they only took the time to listen to his lyrics and give into the emotion that Michael expresses… I posted on the michaelboltonmusic.co.uk main site that I hoped radio would get passed their idea of what they think he is and give his CD a chance. Have you heard any of his new songs in your area? My husband and sister heard “Murder my heart” twice on my AC station but I never did… Thank God, they do play him on digital cable! Just yesterday, I heard “Missing you now”. Can you imagine hearing that on the radio? Well anyway, thanks a lot for your message Betty. This forum is so wonderful: I’m addicted! Lol Take care.
