Hi again Mary Lynn, it seems I often come into your page after I've read one of your blog comments... :D I just read your comment on the latest "Michael's 60th" blog and wanted to ask: have you messaged Gail to let her know you've donated to the Red Cross so she can put you on the list for Michael? Just checking. I know it'll mean a lot to Michael so God bless! Hi Mary Lynn, I just read your comment on the "Hollywood" blog and to answer your question, Michael's next album won't just have Motown hits, but also other soul classics and a few original songs in the same vein. The title, as he told a fan, will be "Ain't no mountain high enough". Considering all he must have gone through to put this album together, I think that's fitting! :D Incidentally, I know you don't come in often, but fans have left you some birthday wishes last week, on the "birthday calendar" thread, in the "off topic" section, just to let you know. Hi Mary Lynn, just wanted to pop by for the latest news. Well just to let you know, I’ve just heard from Amazon and it looks like “The soul of it all” is postponed at least until the end of January. I’m very disappointed, but trying to focus on the  fact that Michael will be on TV on “2 ½ men” in 2 weeks and God willing, we should hear something about the new CD when Michael returns from the Dave Coz cruise...  Take care sweetie and I’m sure we’ll talk soon. Hi Mary Lynn, I've just read your comment on Michael's blog about the KSBR interview and it seems not many people heard it. I did and this is what I wrote on the thread pertaining to it:

"Hi everyone, for those who haven’t been able to listen
to the interview, here’s the run-down. Michael talked about how he met Michael
Lington when he was auditioning musicians in L.A. and he was the last one in as
they were packing up at the end of the day. He also praised him a lot as a live
soloist. Then he talked about keeping the show fresh as he and the band feed off
the audience’s energy every night. Then
he was asked about his autobiography and he said that the essence of it, he
thought would inspire people to persevere with following their dreams. Then he
talked about “Fields of gold” and how it came about and the reverence with which
he treated the duet with Eva Cassidy. Then he talked about his funny side that
most people don’t know about, funny enough, even though he used to always kid
around when he’d go on “The Tonight show” with Jay Leno for instance then he
talked about how the “Jack Sparrow” video came about. Now because this was on a
jazz station, all between the bits of interviews, they played “You are so
beautiful” because it’s with Chris Botty, ”Fields of gold”, “Missing you now”
because it’s with Kenny G and a clip of “Jack Sparrow”. I’m sorry, there was an
interview with Michael Lington after that but I couldn’t listen because my

Hi, I just know he's working on a Motown CD and he's been for a while..Just from what MB's said in interviews and others that are working with him have said on Twitter etc...Don't know about anything else other than the book that's due to be released November 13th..

Hi Mary Lynn, well you’re not here every day so it’s understandable that you may miss some things sweetie. Yep, that’s what he’s working on. We first heard about it by accident, through a post by Cameron (Michael’s backup and trumpet player) that Dianna brought over here and he’s mentioned it in a couple of interviews in the thread I’ve given you. I think Michael  is touring less these days because he’s working hard on trying to finish it on time. Also, a  few weeks back, he posted a pic of himself working on his book and according to an author friend of mine, he should be working on re-writes and finishing touches by now. Along with the charity events like golf and performances, I wish him well. He’ll have a busy fall, that’s for sure! I so can not wait for his book!
